Tobogganing at Katschberg
Dash down the mountain with the toboggans from the Gamskogelhütte for 1.5 kilometers to the center of Katschberg. Twice a week the toboggan run is also illuminated in the evening!
Torchlight hike to the mascot meeting
Little guests love the torchlight hike from the village center to the horse center at Katschberg. Meeting the mascots of Katschberg or riding the ponies of the Horse Center will warm the children’s hearts!
Snowshoeing and winter hiking
Guided snowshoe hikes are organized by the hotel’s own ski school. With plate-shaped giant shoes, you will go to worthwhile hiking destinations around Katschberg!
On more than 30 kilometers of well-marked winter hiking trails you can walk through the snow-covered winter landscape after an unforgettable day of skiing at Katschberg. This is the place to relax and let go of your worries from everyday life!
Ski tours at Katschberg
While skiers look forward to the downhill runs, ski tourers also love the ascent with skins on their skis. Exploring the snow-covered mountains in the side valleys on touring skis is a special fascination. The descent through the deep snow is absolutely a thrilling experience!
Beginners can also enjoy the illuminated slopes in the evening. Every Monday you can go from St. Margarethen to the Aineck with touring skis from 4:00 pm.
Winter driving training
Driving training takes place on perfectly prepared and secured ice tracks in the Lungau vacation region during the winter. This is pure adventure. On the multi-functional driving training course and off-road terrain, handling courses, dynamic surfaces, or oval tracks guarantee plenty of thrills!
Curling and ice skating
The ice-skating rink is located in the Pölla valley in Rennweg. It is open daily and if you order in advance you can also play a game of curling. We would be happy to organize a curling party with mulled wine and fun!
